Best Practices (examples of good online courses)

  • I like the design of this page at ExploreMath.com. It makes good sense to let students view relevant info (broad model) on a course rather that having to burrow down through various paths to get the info the need (narrow and deep model)
  • "Engineering and Sustainable Development" —A WebCT 2000 Exemplary Course Project Winner by Dr. Fiona Crofton, University of British Columbia, Canada.
    WebCT Exemplary Courses:
  • U of Georgia: English, History, Math, Political Science, Science and Philosophy course outlines. login=webct_visitor, pw=webct.
  • University of Hawaii-Manoa: Music 651: Foundations of Music. login=test, pw=dummy.
